Concept 1: The Body in Space: Spirals and Circularity
Saturday 11th November The Strand, Applecross, 10:00am - 3:00pm
In this Concept, we focus on the study of directions and speed of movement while understanding how the body generates inside and outside spirals to create torque and dynamics. We aim to explore these details while maintaining control and connection in turns.

What is a Concept?
A workshop will explore the relevant ideas within a short
time frame of no more than 2 hours. A concept is at least 4 hours in length,
with an hour break for lunch (supplied). It is designed to explore the relevant tango
'concept' from the ground up and will allow you to develop with your partner to
the level that is suitable for you.
Concepts are special intensives organised
by TangoSpace where over four hours a single idea or tango ‘concept’ is built
from the ground up. Students MUST enrol with a partner (note: We do not care about gender balance as long as there is a leader and a follower).
Throughout the Concept you work with your partner to your desired level.
Concepts are divided into two 2 hour sessions with a 1 hour break in between.
You must enrol for the full four hours. But the good news is that within the
hour break, we will supply you with lunch. Concepts cost $150 per person.
November 2017
